Content Chan Wai Kwong was born in Hong Kong in 1976. His father worked as a newspaper photographer and his mother worked in the casinos of Macau. In 1988, he enrolled at the New Law College in Hong Kong but dropped out after just one year. For a long time afterwards, he changed jobs several times, including as a restaurant assistant and an office waiter. He started taking photographs casually in his teens and became absorbed in the subject, being completely self-taught and independent. More than five years ago, Chen quit his job to focus full-time on photography. His main source of income is selling his own Photograph Collection. He never wavered in his steep, narrow, and destined path as a photographer.
