| A villainess whose engagement has been broken off summons a 4.5 tatami mat Japanese-style room with "desperate magic"!? A healing otherworldly comedy in modern Japan! Hakushaku Reijou Claudia Nicholas has her engagement to the fourth prince, Lyphons, suddenly broken off due to false accusations of bullying. With nowhere to go, her only confidante is her "magic mirror". In despair, a desperate Claudia tries out a spell written in a grimoire, ignoring the mirror's warnings. The next moment, a luxurious Western-style room transforms into a 4.5 tatami mat Japanese-style room. She was wearing a dress, but somehow she's now in a tracksuit. The "magic mirror" turns into a Smart Phone, and beyond the door?another world, Japan, unfolds! Although initially bewildered, Claudia becomes captivated by modern Japanese life. Then Lyphons comes to visit her to apologize. Confused by the strange space, the two childhood friends talk to each other with a sense of familiarity. He, too, is drawn to the allure of the other world and, using the same magic, "moves" into the room next door. And so, the two reconcile and begin a secret life, traveling back and forth between the two worlds without anyone knowing! The much-talked-about work from X (formerly Twitter), the long-awaited Tankobon volume is now on sale! |
